Tahrir Al-Sham Terrorists Attack Turkey Observation Post in False-Flag Operation against Syrian Army

Tahrir al-Sham al-Hay'at (the Levant Liberation Board or the Al-Nusra Front) terrorist group launched attacks against the Turkey-occupied regions in Hama in a bid to violate the ceasefire and put the blame on the Syrian army.

The Arabic-language al-Watan newspaper quoted dissident sources close to the so-called National Liberation Front (supported by Ankara) as saying on Friday that Tahrir al-Sham targeted the areas under supervision of Turkey in Jabal Shahshabou in Northwestern Hama with 35 artillery attacks, adding that 3 Turkish forces were wounded and damages were inflicted on their equipment.

They noted that the measure was adopted to cancel the 3-day Turkish-Russian humanitarian ceasefire and igniting clashes between the Syrian army and the Turkish side.

Meantime, the Russian defense ministry also declared that the terrorist groups in Northern Syria have targeted the Turkey-occupied regions in Idlib province after voicing opposition to the ceasefire.

Also, the Arabic-language website of Sputnik reported on Friday that Turkey is publically supporting the terrorist groups in Northern Syria by equipping them with shoulder-launched anti-aircraft missiles, adding that Tahrir al-Sham had earlier attacked a Sukhoi fighter jet in Northern Hama with the same weapons.

The Syrian army launched artillery attacks against the positions of militants on Friday in response to the offensives launched by the terrorists groups stationed in al-Latamineh and Kafar Zita in Northern Hama and al-Habit against the civilians’ houses in the town of Mahradah, Job Ramlah and al-Rasif.

In a relevant development on Friday,  the Syrian and Russian fighter jets attacked a meeting of commanders of Tahrir al-Sham al-Hay’at and other terrorist groups in Idlib after a ceasefire proposed by Russia and Turkey failed in the province.

Sputnik news agency quoted a Syrian military source as saying that the Russian and Syrian warplanes in a joint military operation launched several airstrikes on the terrorists’ military positions in Khan Sheikhoun, Safhoun, Kafar Nubl, Hass and Taftnaz Airport in Southern Idlib.

It noted that a meeting held between Tahrir al-Sham and other terrorist groups in Taftnaz Airport as well as other gatherings and military equipment of terrorists that were going to be used for attacking the Syrian Army’s military positions were destroyed.

The source noted that the Russian and Syrian air raids were conducted concurrent with the Syrian Army’s artillery attacks and after the terrorists violated the ceasefire in Northern Syria by attacking the Syrian Army’s military positions in al-Hamamiat, al-Qasabiyeh and Sheikh Hadid region in Northern Hama and Southern Idlib.

The terrorists have violated the ceasefire several times before and attacked the Syrian Army’s military positions many times before.
