Takfiris puppets of domineering powers: Islamic Center of England chief

Head of the Islamic Center of England Abdolhossein Moezi says Takfiri (comminator) groups have gradually turned into tools in the hands of the arrogant powers.

Addressing the seventh international meeting of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, Moezi said, “Commination is against the obvious text of the holy [Islamic] sharia”, IRNA reported.

In his address, entitled Islamic unity versus challenges of sectarianism, Moezi said sectarianism, including by the Takfiris, leaves bitter imprints on societies, dividing them up and leaving them humiliated and weak.

Moezi added some people fall to the deceit of the domineering powers and serve their interests by comminating and killing other Mulisms whose identity is their only guilt.

“To maintain the unity of the Islamic Ummah, we cannot help standing up to sectarian remarks while staying unified and attentive and isolate individuals and groups that encourage terrorism and extremism,” he said.

The meeting in London was held on Saturday with the participation of 20 religious and political Muslim figures including the British peer, Lord Nazir Ahmed.

Foreign-backed Takfiri militants are responsible for much of the bloodshed in Syria.

Back in August, a footage emerged of the Al-Qaeda-linked Al-Nusra Takfiri fighters stopping vehicles on a road, interrogating their drivers about their faiths and shotting them execution-style because they are found to be Alawaites, who are a Shia offshoot sect.
