Tam Iran Khodro amongst Asian MAKEs

Tam Iran Khodro is due to compete with leading Asian MAKEs as Iran’s most admired knowledge enterprise.

Hamid Reza Moradi, TAM CEO outlined the reasons of TAM selection as Iran’s MAKE this year, saying, “Developing knowledgeable and elite workforce to maximize enterprise intellectual capital as the company’s biggest move, we have managed to expand our business in car production lines, robotic sector, railroad industry, oil, gas and petrochemical industries as well as power plants and mining.”

Sharif University of Technology, in association with Teleos and The KNOW Network, has announced the 30 Finalists of the first annual Iran Most Admired Knowledge Enterprises (MAKE) study among which TAM Iran Khodro received Iran’s first MAKE award.

Moradi restated that this led TAM to transfer and localize knowledge and technology into local projects and push our work forward with a greater amount of foreign exchange saving.

Organizational training and monitoring its effectiveness, Research and development as the driving force of engineering, knowledge creation, taking the advantages of the world’s top technologies and localizing them, as well as documentation of all project and determination of successful process for experience transition have been the key points TAM has been focusing on.

Inaugurated in 1998, the Most Admired Knowledge Enterprise (MAKE) Award was conducted by Teleos (a British foremost independent research company in knowledge management and intellectual capital areas) in association with the KNOW network every year.

The first annual Iran MAKE study is an established benchmark to recognize Iran’s leading organizations for their ability to leverage enterprise knowledge to deliver superior performance in areas of innovation, operational effectiveness and excellence in products and services.
