Tehran 19th Int’l Quran exhibit opens with 20 nations taking part

The 19th International Exhibit of Holy Quran opened in Tehran on Monday with artists, Quran translators, researchers and publishers from 20 countries taking part.
Director of international section of the Exhibit Ali Reza Esmaili said that 23 participants from Germany, Malaysia, India and The Philippines have put their Quranic works to display in International section of the Quran exhibit.

“The Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance Seyyed Mohammad Hoseini and head of Islamic Culture and Relations Organization Mohammad Bagher Khorramshad will inaugurate the International section of the exhibit on 9th of Ramadan (10th of August) in Tehran Imam Khomeini Mosalla,” he added.

Esmaili, pointing that the 19th Quran exhibit focuses in three themes of Quran research, art and translation and added that a forum of “Quran, a book of awakening”, specialized meetings, introducing Pakistani scripture of Quran and lectures to be presented by the the Quranic experts are of the programs on the sidelines of the exhibit.

Esmaili said that the 19th International Quran Exhibit will also review the title of ‘Reflection of Holy Quran in the Arts’ in some other different countries.
Tehran 19the International Quran Exhibit will work until August 24.
