Tel Aviv blames Mahmoud Abbas for failure of talks

The Israeli regime has accused the Palestinian Authority of ruining the so-called peace talks through its recent agreement with Hamas on a Palestinian unity government.

According to Press TV, referring to acting Palestinian Authority Chief Mahmoud Abbas also known as Abu Mazen, a Zionist official on the condition of anonymity said on Saturday, “Abu Mazen (Abbas) administered the coup de grâce to the peace process today.”

The Israeli regime official added that Abbas “recycled the same conditions, after he already knows Israel won’t accept them.”

The Israeli regime canceled the so-called peace talks on April 24 in protest at the unity deal reached the previous day. Tel Aviv says it will not deal with any Palestinian government which includes Hamas.

Abbas has said the unity deal does not contradict the negotiations the Palestinian Authority is pursuing with the Zionist regime.
