images_News_2014_08_23_rally-0_300_0Ten thousands took to the streets of Amman on Friday evening marking the anniversary of the arson attack on the Aqsa Mosque.

The participants hailed the steadfastness of the Palestinian people and their resistance in Gaza.
The demonstrators called on West Bankers to revolt against the Israeli occupation, demanding an immediate end to PA security coordination with the occupation. Slogans in support of al-Aqsa mosque were chanted during the march.

Deputy head of the Muslim Brotherhood in Jordan Zaki Bani Irsheid said during the march that Israeli occupation’s end has neared, calling on a Jordanian official response to Israeli Prime Minister Benyamin Netanyahu’s statements in which he said that Jordan official position is supportive to Israel.

For his part, Islamic Movement activist Khder Hadib has praised the steadfastness of Jerusalemites in defense of al-Aqsa mosque that is subjected to unprecedented Israeli attacks and schemes aiming to divide it temporally and spatially.
