Tens of Civilians Killed, Wounded in Satanic US Air Attacks in Eastern Syria

Over 30 civilians were killed and tens of others wounded in the US-led coalition air raids on residential areas in Southeastern Deir Ezzur, the London-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) reported on Saturday.

SOHR reported that a sum of 32 civilians were killed in the air attacks in Southeastern Deir Ezzur in the last 24 hours.

It explained that the warplanes bombed the small town of al-Souseh in Southeastern Deir Ezzur on Thursday midnight and killed 18 civilians, including 7 children.

SOHR, meantime, said that a sum of 14 civilians were also killed and tens of others were wounded in airstrikes on the region on Friday, adding that bodies of some of the civilians are still under the debris of ruined buildings in the town.

The Arabic-language website of Sputnik quoted a military source as saying on Thursday that 2 US-led coalition F-15 fighter jets targeted the positions of Washington-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in Eastern Deir Ezzur.

He added that the US warplanes’ target was ISIL’s strongholds in areas near the town of Hajin but they attacked the SDF, killing 6 Kurdish forces and wounding 15 others.

The source said that the incident happened due to a lack of proper coordination and unprofessional performance of the US forces, adding that it indicated failure of the US policies in Syria and creation of more problems in the region.
