Terrorist Centers in Northern, Eastern Homs Hit Hard in Syrian Air, Missile Attacks

Syrian warplanes pounded ISIL’s gatherings in Tal Sawan and near al-Sha’er oilfield, while other military jets of the country targeted terrorists’ strongholds in Ein al-Hossein, al-Rastasn, Talbiseh and al-Za’afaraniyeh, destroying dozens of the militants’ vehicles.

Syrian army’s missile units also opened fire at terrorists’ centers in Um Sharshouh, Abu al-Anz farms, Ein al-Hossein al-Janoubi and al-Za’afaraniyeh in Talbiseh region.

Syrian army soldiers also repelled ISIL’s attacks from Unq al-Hawa and Rahoum towards Jubb al-Jarah.

A number of ISIL fighters were also killed in clashes with the Syrian army men near al-Quaryatayn in Southeastern Homs.

In relevant developments in the province on Sunday, Syrian Army troops engaged in tough battles with ISIL and Fatah al-Sham Front (the newly formed al-Qaeda-affiliated terrorist group previously known as the al-Nusra Front) in Eastern and Northern Homs, inflicting heavy casualties and major losses on both terrorist groups.

Syrian army soldiers stormed a group of Fatah al-Sham in the Northern side of Um Sharshouh and Talbiseh, destroying their heavy machinegun-equipped vehicles and other equipment.

The Syrian army also repelled ISIL’s offensive on government troops’ positions in Unq al-Hawa towards Jubb al-Jarrah in Eastern Homs, leaving scores of them dead or wounded and destroying their military vehicles.

Meantime, the Syrian air force launched fresh airstrikes on the gatherings of the terrorists in Tir Ma’ala, Talbiseh, al-Rastan and Keisin, destroying their sites and machinegun-equipped vehicles.

The Syrian warplanes also targeted the gatherings and movements of ISIL terrorists in the Eastern side of Palmyra and the villages of al-Sawnia and al-Alyiana, destroying the strongholds, military and technical vehicles.
