Terrorist evacuation from occupied Golan Heights area postponed again

For the second day in a row, the Beit Jinn evacuation has been delayed, a military source near the occupied Golan Heights told Al-Masdar.

According to the military source, the militants were initially scheduled to leave today; however, internal strife between Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham fighters has once again forced the government to postpone.

The Syrian government is reluctant to restart operations inside the Beit Jinn pocket because it will require some forces to be redirected back to this area.

Furthermore, Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham is completely encircled in the Beit Jinn pocket and they no longer control one of the most important towns in the area, making the resumption of operations here pointless.

If Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham reneges on the deal to leave, the Syrian Army will impose their will on the jihadists with a massive artillery and missile barrage from one of the hilltops that overlook this area.
