Terrorist FSA urges foreign military intervention

The chief of staff of the so-called Free Syrian Army (FSA) has called for a foreign military intervention in Syria.

Selim Idriss in a Monday interview with Qatar’s state-run broadcaster Al Jazeera said “We call for strikes…,” claiming that Damascus government “tells lies” about accepting a Russian proposal to hand over its chemical weapons.
His comments came after Syria welcomed Russia’s initiative to put its chemical weapons stockpile under international control in a bid to avert a US military intervention.
The offer was made by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov on Monday during talks with his Syrian counterpart Walid Muallem in Moscow.
Muallem said through an interpreter “I state that the Syrian Arab Republic welcomes the Russian initiative, motivated by the Syrian leadership’s concern for the lives of our citizens and the security of our country, and also motivated by our confidence in the wisdom of the Russian leadership, which is attempting to prevent American aggression against our people.”
