Terrorist group busted in SE Iran

3990c1bc828bbfc242783f5a8886de44_LIran’s Border Guards have announced that a terrorist network was busted in south eastern Iran.

According to IRIB World Service citing Deputy Commander of Iran’s Border guards, Brigadier General Jalal Setareh, during an operation two days ago in Jakigvar area, two of the terrorists were killed and four others wounded.
Earlier, Iran’s Border Guards Commander, Brigadier General Hossein Zolfaqari had informed of upgrading the border posts with the latest electronic equipments and sophisticated military facilities at the south eastern borders, in addition to setting up twenty-one new security stations for a better safeguarding of the borders.
The US and Israeli-backed terrorist groups have frequently targeted many Iranian military and civilian officials as well as border guards in the southeastern parts of the country.
In their fresh attack on the Sirkan border station located in Sistan-Baluchestan on October 25, fourteen Iranian border guards were martyred.
