Terrorists Fail to Cut off Gov’t Force’s Supply Line in Southern Aleppo

Jeish al-Nasr’s offensive to break through government forces’ positons along a key supply route connecting Hama to Aleppo province was repelled by the strong defense of the Syrian military forces.

Jeish al-Nasr launched an offensive on army position near Mahmyat al-Ghazal West of the Ithriya-Khanasser road in a bid to cut off the government’s supply route to Aleppo, but their attacks were fended off by the Syrian army and its allies.

Jeish al-Nasr left scores of the dead and wounded members behind and retreated from the battlefield.

On Thursday, the Syrian and Russian air forces killed tens of terrorists, including their commanders, and destroyed four command centers, three car bombs and scores of armored vehicles in concentrated airstrikes South of Aleppo.

The Syrian and Russian fighter jets launched strikes on the positions and gatherings of the terrorists in the Southern parts of Aleppo, killing a large number of them.

During the attacks, several armored cars and a number of vehicles, some of which equipped with machine guns and cannons were destroyed, a military source said.

The Syrian warplanes also targeted the militants’ positions in al-Jabs Market in the Eastern parts of Rashedeen as well as al-Shurfa and al-Ramousiyeh regions in the Southeastern parts of Aleppo.

The air force also targeted the gathering centers and bases of the militants at the military academy and adjacent areas in Southern Aleppo.
