Terrorists Receive Severe Blows in Homs, Lattakia and Damascus Countryside

Armed forces on Tuesday continued hunting members of the terrorist groups in Homs and its countryside, inflicting heavy losses upon them.

SANA correspondent quoted a source in the province as saying that a unit of our armed forces eliminated all members of an armed terrorist group and destroyed their weapons and criminal tools in al-Khalidiya neighborhood in Homs.

The source added that another unit destroyed a terrorists’ gathering, leaving its members killed and wounded in Muslabiet Bait al-Ashtar neighborhood in al-Rastan. Terrorists Ibrahim al-Salhi, Alaa Ayoub and Abdullah Alwen, were identified among the dead.

Gatherings along with all terrorists and weapons inside them were destroyed in Deir Fol village in al-Rastan countryside, Aqrab, Tal Dahab in al-Houla countryside.

A unit of the armed forces killed a number of terrorists and destroyed an anti-aircraft machinegun near water tanks in the city of al-Rastan al-Fuqani in the countryside of Homs.

SANA reporter quoted a source in the province as saying that Ammar Mousa, leader of an armed terrorist group, in addition to terrorists Khalid Obeid and Mohammad Farzat, were identified among the dead.

A bulldozer was used by the terrorists in digging a trench east of Tallbiseh was destroyed as a number of terrorists in al-Dar al-Kabira north of Homs were killed. Mahmoud Helal was identified among the dead.

The source added that another unit of the armed forces killed and injured a number of terrorists and arrested others in Wadi al-Sayeh.

The source told the reporter that another army unit destroyed a gathering for terrorists in al-Elyaniyeh area in the countryside of Palmyra, killing all of the terrorists.

Meanwhile, the engineering units dismantled 5 explosive devices, 35 kg each, planted by terrorists on Homs-al-Sabe’ Biar road, according to the source.

Army Destroys Weapons Warehouses, Kills Terrorists’ Leaders in Damascus Countryside

The army destroyed two weapons and ammunition warehouses and killed scores of terrorists in several areas in Damascus Countryside.

An official source said that a number of terrorists were killed in Jayrood farms, adding that terrorists Jamal Hannoun, leader of “al-Tawheed Movement” terrorist group, and Abu al-Saber were identified among the dead.

The army also destroyed a warehouse for weapons and ammunition and a hideout for Jabhet al-Nusra-affiliated terrorists in Jayrood city.

An army unit eliminated scores of terrorists, among them was a sniper shooter, in Irbeen town in Damascus Countryside.

Among the killed terrorists were Mohammad Obeid and Mahi Eddin Obeid.

Another unit destroyed a weapons’ warehouse and a mortar in Adra city, killing many terrorists affiliated to Jabhet al-Nusra terrorist organization in the area.

In Harasta, the army clashed with terrorists near al-Baladyeh roundabout and the water company, killing dozens of terrorists, among them was Hani al-Najjar, the leader of the terrorist group “Ahbab Allah Battalion”.

The army continued pursuing the terrorists who were stationing along Damascus-Homs highway and shooting on the passers using their sniper rifles.

An army unit carried out a special operation against a terrorists’ hideout in al-Zabadani city, the operation resulted in the killing of 15 terrorists, among them were Mustafa Hamdan and Khaled al-Tinawi.

Terrorists affiliated to Jabhet al-Nusra terrorist organization were killed in Deir Atyyeh and their weaponry and ammunition were destroyed.

The army killed a number of terrorists and destroyed a heavy machinegun in Qara city and eliminated scores of them to the east of Yabroud city.

Meanwhile, the army found a 40-meter tunnel that reaches from Barzeh farms to Tishreen Military Hospital and killed 5 terrorists who were in it, among the killed were Ahmad Muhaysen and Mohammad Qaddoura.

Stolen Archeological Pieces Seized in Terrorists’ Den in Palmyra

The source also mentioned that the authorities stormed a den for armed terrorist groups in a farm in the countryside of Palmyra and seized stolen archeological pieces from the Roman and Byzantine ages.
