Thailand to hold election, dissolve parliament: PM

Thai Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra says she will hold an election and dissolve the parliament “as soon as possible,” following anti-government protests.

Meanwhile, the leader of the anti-government protesters, Suthep Thaugsuban, called for another demonstration, saying, the dissolution of the parliament is not his goal.
