The Israeli police arrest guard of Al-Aqsa

The Israeli police arrested today morning, inside the Aqsa mosque the guard Samer Abd-Alhakim Abu Qwaider(34), while he was doing his job, and took him to the police station in Bab-Alsilsila.

The arrest happened during morning time, when a number of Jewish extremists stormed the aqsa mosque escorted with Israeli police, the scene stirred the worshippers who sit-in inside the Aqsa mosque and who decided spontaneously to protest the violation. During the protest a squabble developed between the worshippers and the Jewish extremists, and then Abu Qwaider interfered and asked the Muslim worshippers to pray inside the Aqsa mosque. However the Israeli police considered this demand a provocative and arrested the guard.

After then the worshippers asked the Israeli occupation police to close Al-Mughrabi gate in the western Wall of the Aqsa mosque. However, the police threatened that the closure will affect Muslims only during the days of the Eid.
