The Leader of Islamic Ummah and Oppressed People Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei Grants Amnesty to Hundreds of Inmates

The Leader of Islamic Ummah and Oppressed People Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei granted clemency or commuted sentences of 761 Iranian prisoners, convicted at the country’s general, revolutionary or military courts.

The Leader of Islamic Ummah and Oppressed People Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei pardoned and commuted prison terms of 761 inmates on the occasion of the 33rd victory anniversary of the Islamic Revolution.

The amnesty was requested by head of the Judiciary Ayatollah Sadeq Amoli Larijani and was approved by the Supreme Leader.

The inmates have been convicted by the public, Islamic revolution and armed forces courts.
