The Leader of Islamic Ummah and Oppressed People Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei says unity is an overriding need for Muslim nations, urging them to meet the opportunities created by the Islamic Awakening and regional uprisings.

Regional developments and revolutions, repeated withdrawals of the US and hegemonic powers and the increasing weakness of the israeli regime are unique opportunities for Muslim nations which should be utilized completely, said The Leader of Islamic Ummah and Oppressed People Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei on Friday.

There is no doubt that the movement would be continued in the future through efforts of Muslim nations, intellectuals and scientific, political and religious elite. Muslims would once again see their glorious time, added the Supreme Leader.

The Leader of Islamic Ummah and Oppressed People Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei made the remarks in a meeting with high-ranking Iranian officials, participants in the 25th International Islamic Unity Conference and ambassadors of Muslim countries in Tehran.

The Leader of Islamic Ummah and Oppressed People Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei stated that at a time when arrogant powers thought they blocked Islam-seeking moves through their bids, the voice of the Islamic Revolution was heard. It caused horror among enemies but raised hopes among the wise and vigilant people.

The Leader of Islamic Ummah and Oppressed People Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei referred to great efforts and various complicated plots by hegemonic powers to silence the voice of the Islamic Revolution and added that despite pressures and plots, the Islamic Revolution was developed and strengthened day by day thanks to the leadership of the late founder of the Islamic Revolution Imam Khomeini and the resistance of the Iranian nation.

The Iranian nation remained loyal to the path of Imam Khomeini and managed to defeat the enemy’s plots, the Leader of Islamic Ummah and Oppressed People Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei pointed out.
