Thousands of Palestinians marched in the funeral procession on Monday of Riham Dawabsheh, 27, who died of wounds she sustained in a settler arson attack on July 31 that also killed her husband Saad and her 18-month-old son.

Riham died overnight Sunday in Tel Hashomer Hospital after succumbing to third degree burns on 90-percent of her body as she had been in a coma since the July 31st attack.

Riham was given an official funeral amid heavy participation of national and Islamic figures and members of Palestinian Legislative Council, in addition to Arab members of Israeli Knesset.

The funeral procession set off from the entrance of Duma village in southern Nablus and proceeded to the village’s cemetery next to her husband and son who were laid to rest last month.

The mourners held Palestinian flags and called for revenge and protection from settlers’ attacks. They also demanded activating resistance in West Bank.

On July 31, Israeli settlers threw Molotov cocktails inside two homes in the village of Duma in Nablus, killing an 18-month-old baby. His father Saad died from his injuries eight days after the attack while four-year-old Ali, another son of the couple, is still in hospital.
