Larijani added they drew up plans to control inflation and support the country’s production sector.
It was agreed that the national budget should also prop up the production sector which its details will be discussed during the ratification of the budget by the parliament, Larijani explained.

Despite the fact that the new Iranian calendar year begins on March 21 the administration has not yet presented the national budget bill to parliament for study.
The Saturday meeting was the 14th of its kind between the president, Majlis speaker, and Judiciary chief.

The meeting came after bickering between the Majlis and the cabinet, particularly between the president and the Majlis speaker, on February 4 , the day the labor minister was voted out by parliamentarians.

The three national figures had lastly met on September 10. It was after this meeting that the Judiciary chief and the president traded letters each accusing the other of violating his authority and this led to a break in holding joint sessions.
