There were no immediate reports of casualties or damage from Thursday night’s incident, said Press TV correspondent in Beirut, adding that it was not clear from where the rockets were fired.

On May 26, two rockets hit Beirut’s southern district of Zahyieh, injuring several people.

The Lebanese resistance movement Hezbollah condemned the May 26 rocket attacks.

Head of Hezbollah Executive Council Seyyed Hashem Safieddine said on May 28 that the “targeting and the manner of targeting prove one thing that the perpetrator is a coward.”

Safieddine called on the Lebanese government to “uncover those standing behind this attack and those funding, supporting and training the perpetrators, and punish them.”
