Tiger Forces capture the village of Rasm Al-Sirhan in east Aleppo

The Syrian Arab Army’s special operations division known as the “Tiger Forces” has continued their massive advance through the Aleppo Governorate’s eastern countryside, capturing more sites from the Islamic State of Iraq and Al-Sham (ISIS) inside the Al-Bab Plateau.

Earlier today, the Tiger Forces – in close coordination with the National Defense Forces (NDF), Liwaa Suqour Al-Sahra (Desert Hawks Brigade), and Kataebat Al-Ba’ath (Al-Ba’ath Battalions) – imposed full control over the village of Rasm Al-Sirhan after a violent battle with the ISIS terrorists entrenched around this desolate area in the Aleppo Governorate.

According to a military source near the Kuweires Military Airport, the Tiger Forces and their allies had advanced to the village of Rasm Al-Sirhan after their successful campaign the day before in which they captured 4 villages from the ISIS terrorists situated to the south of Al-Bab city.

Currently, violent firefights are taking place at the village of ‘Ayn Al-Jahesh and to the east of Rasm Al-Sirhan; it is very likely that the Tiger Forces continue to advance east of Al-Bab city in order to expand their territorial gains.
