Syrian Arab Army’s “Tiger Forces” – backed by Liwaa Suqour Al-Sahra (Desert Hawks Brigade) and the National Defense Forces (NDF) – imposed full control over the village of ‘Ayn Al-Hanish in the Deir Hafer Plains after a violent battle with the Islamic State of Iraq and Al-Sham (ISIS) in Aleppo Governorate’s eastern countryside.

According to a military source that is embedded at the Kuweires Military Airport, the Tiger Forces and their allies seized ‘Ayn Al-Hanish after advancing from the recently captured village of Tal Hattebat to the north; this aforementioned site is located just south of the ISIS stronghold of Al-Bab in east Aleppo.

With the recent capture of ‘Ayn Al-Hanish in the Aleppo Governorate’s eastern countryside, the Tiger Forces and their allies are now closing the gap on the the ISIS terrorists that are positions to the east of the Sheikh Najjar Industrial District that is located a little over 10 km away from the SAA’s current frontlines in the Al-Bab Plateau.

This new military strategy to push west towards the Sheikh Najjar Industrial District should pay dividends for the Syrian Armed Forces in the end, as they are subsequently encircling the remaining ISIS terrorists that are entrenched in the Deir Hafer Plains.
