Top Iranian official expresses support for Syria officials

A senior adviser to the Leader of Iran’s Islamic Revolution who is in Syria has met with several officials including President Bashar al-Assad. Former foreign minister Ali Akbar Velayati reiterated Tehran’s full support for the Syrian people and government, as Syrian troops continue fighting foreign-backed terrorists in the northern province of Aleppo.
