Trump meets North Korea’s Kim at DMZ

US President Donald Trump has met North Korea’s leader Kim Jong-un at the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) separating the two Koreas, in what was effectively an get-together.

During a brief outdoors meeting at the DMZ, which saw a flurry of flash photography and cameramen and bodyguards swirling around, Trump stepped over the demarcation line into North Korean territory and then Kim stepped into South Korean territory, both of which marked a first of their kind.
