Large explosion injures several in New York City, buildings collapse

Several people have been injured in an explosion that collapsed several buildings in New York City, according to US officials. The New York City fire department said on Wednesday that it has received a report of a blast and building collapse in East Harlem, the Associated Press reported.
According to CNN, the incident caused multiple buildings collapse and at least 11 minor injuries.
Local residents said they heard a large explosion in an apartment building around 9 a.m. local time Wednesday.
