Tunisian civil society protests against Israeli aggression on Gaza

Thousands of Tunisians demonstrated after Friday prayer in many Tunisian cities against the Israeli brutal attacks on Gaza, the PIC correspondent reported.

Several hundred protesters, gathered on Habib Bourguiba Avenue in the centre of Tunis. They chanted slogans such as “No to reconciliation,” and “The people want to criminalize normalizing relations with the Israeli entity.”

In Sousse, coast of Tunisia, many Tunisian associations have organized a sit-in protesting against the Israeli crimes on the unarmed people of the Gaza strip, calling for criminalizing normalization and dealing with the Israeli occupation.

In Sfax, southern Tunisia, hundreds of people demonstrated in support of the Palestinian resistance in the Gaza strip, calling the international community and all the free people of the world to stop this aggression against the Palestinian people.

Meanwhile, the Tunisian President adviser for International Affairs Anwar al-Garbi confirmed that the Tunisian Foreign Minister Rafik Abdessalam will visit Gaza accompanied by an official Tunisian delegation to protest the Israeli aggression and to support the Palestinian steadfastness.
