Turkish bombardment kills at least 12 civilians in al-Bab

At least a dozen civilians were killed when Turkish artillery pounded the al-Bab area in northern Syria when they purportedly were aiming for ISIS and Kurdish positions.

The British-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said on Friday that the shelling hit a residential neighborhood in the city of al-Bab, killing at least 12 people and 10 wounded, with the victims belonging to only three families.

The monitoring group warned that the death toll will most likely rise as many civilians are still struck under the debris that was created from the shelling.
