Turkish intelligence officers scold Syria terrorists for brutality: Report

Turkish intelligence officers have scolded the foreign-sponsored insurgents in Syria for their brutality against pro-government Syrians, a report says.

The anti-Damascus groups have reportedly told the London-based Al-Quds al-Arabi daily that the Turkish officers strongly censured the insurgent leaders after the release of graphic footage showing the terrorists torturing the kidnapped pro-government Syrians in the northwestern city of Aleppo.

The insurgents have also been scolded for committing violent acts against their claims of seeking freedom, the report said.

Over the past few days, the insurgents have grossly executed several Syrians for their support for the government. The violent ways of execution used by the terrorists include killing by over a hundred bullets from close range, slitting the throat of a blindfolded victim and throwing the bodies off the rooftop of a multi-story building.

Many people, including large numbers of security forces, have been killed in the turmoil that began in Syria in March 2011.

Meanwhile, fighting between the Syrian army and the insurgents continues in several neighborhoods of Aleppo.

On Wednesday, Syrian security forces seized 12 vehicles full of weapons in the suburb of Kafar Hamra, northwest of Aleppo.

Syrian President Bashar al-Assad said on August 1 that the country is engaged in a “crucial and heroic” battle that will determine the destiny of the nation.
