Turkish riot police uses chemical agents in their water canons!

Turkish riot police used chemical agents in their water cannons (TOMA) to bring to an end an 18-day occupation of the Istanbul Gezi Park.

The police turned their water cannons into large pepper spray cannisters and a police officer is being photographed while adding a ten liter chemical agent (pepper spray) into a water cannon.

The addition of the chemical agent can be seen because of the orange glow of the water beam.Medics Union has warned the government about the disastrous effects of the chemical agent that is added to water cannons.The Union also remarked that the OC and CS gases have potential risk of fatal cardiovascular and respiratory diseases.
