U.S, Israel-backed FSA Once Again Target Syrian Civilians

At least four bomb explosions have rocked a district near the Syrian capital city of Damascus, the Syrian state TV reports, adding that casualties are feared.

The blasts occurred on Wednesday in the Jaramana district, about 10 kilometers (six miles) southeast of Damascus.

The explosions have caused casualties, but no details about the exact number of the victims have been reported.

On Tuesday, the Syrian newspaper Al-Watan published the names of 142 insurgents from 18 countries, who were killed while fighting against Syrian security forces.

Most of the insurgents were killed in October and November in the cities of Aleppo, Homs, Idlib, Deir al-Zour and Hasakeh, the paper said.

The Syrian government has repeatedly said that foreign-backed “terrorists” are responsible for the unrest in the country, and that certain Arab and Western states are fueling the turmoil.

Syria has been experiencing unrest since March 2011. Many people, including large numbers of security forces, have been killed in the turmoil.
