‘Unilateralism, Zionism nearing end’

Following the wave of Islamic Awakening sweeping the Middle East and North Africa, a senior Iranian lawmaker says the unilateralism of the arrogance and zionism is approaching its demise.

Changes in political equations of the world and the United States, in particular, are different from the past; changes are inspired by revolutionary values, a member of the Majlis (parliament) Presiding Board Mohammad Hossein Farhangi told IRNA on Sunday.

He added that if regional nations remain vigilant against the Zionism intervention in their political affairs, the unilateralism and bullying of the global arrogance will undoubtedly reach their end.

The Iranian legislator emphasized that if the countries’ stances are aligned with freedom-seeking objectives and revolutionary values as well as the demands of the people, arrogance and tyranny will lose the opportunity to spread.

Farhangi said that the time for the bullying policies of the US and Zionism in the world is approaching its end and added that their policies are no longer effective among nations and political circles.

The lawmaker expressed hope that the Islamic Awakening in Bahrain, Yemen, Libya, Egypt and Tunisia will bear fruit and its waves will also affect the Western bullying powers.
