Unity among clerics for blocking Takfir a must

Hojjatola Islam Val Moslemin Seyyed Khosroshahi in an exclusive interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA) called on Muslims especially Islamic clerics to get united in a bid to neutralize the negative consequences of Takfir, infighting with this pervasive phenomenon.

“The majority of Sunni scholars are against Takfir and excommunication,” said the religious cleric stating that only Wahhabis are enriching Takfiri moves.

To his line, Islamic Scholars and clerics should get united to so as to be able block this religious sedition.

Hojjatola Islam Val Moslemin Seyyed Hadi Khosroshahi accentuated the profound role of Islamic clerics, spurring on them to keep shouldering guiding people against Fatwas issued by extremist Muftis.

It is worthwhile noting that the religious cleric was among the participants of the 27th International Islamic Unity Conference.

More than 300 prominent Muslim scholars and thinkers from 58 countries are taking part in the three-day event under the banner of “The Holy Quran and Its Role in Uniting the Islamic Ummah.”

The conference, which kicked off on Friday with Iranian President Hassan Rouhani’s inauguration speech and will be closed on Sunday January 19.

Braving the pervasive problems of Islamic world, proposing suggestions for blocking the proliferation of anti-Islamic advertising , underscoring the positive effects of the telling role of Quran along with a many issues proposed in the second day of the 27th International Islamic Unity Conference.
