‘Unity imperative to counter anti-Islamic policies of West’

Unity among the Ummah can only be achieved if the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (SAWW) are followed in letter and spirit.
Thousands of people attended annual convention organised by Jama’at-e-Ahali Hadith in Indian administered Kashmir.

During the convention, various religious scholars spoke on the title “Islam and unity in Muslim Ummah” with the declaration that unity among the Ummah can only be achieved if the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (SAWW) can be followed in letter and spirit.

Speaking on the occasion, the speakers including Reyaz Ahmed Shah Vice President Jama’at-e-Ahali Hadith Jammu Kashmir, Moulana Tariq Ahmed Kaloo, Muhammad Amin Madni, Sajad Ahmed Dar, Ghulam Muhammad Mir and others threw light on the aims and objective of the organization.

During the speech speakers said that Holy Quran and Sunnah was the base of unity among all Islamic groups. They also said that for the followers of all Islamic sects, interpretation of the holy Quran and Sunnah is the only way to success.

Reyaz Ahmed said, “The approach of scholars while dealing the system should not be secular but should be based on the principles of Islam only to achieve the goal.”

Speakers stressed the need for unity to counter what he called anti-Islamic policies of the West. They asked the Muslim Ummah especially youth to follow teachings’ of Prophet Muhammad (SAWW) to achieve the religious aims so that the anti Islamic elements cannot reach out the Muslim Ummah to disturb their religiosity”

Speakers stressed to carry the string of Allah (SWT) strongly and not to get separated into damaged items.

They appealed scholars and ulama of all sects to act against the growing immorality in the State so as to achieve the real Islamic atmosphere.
