Unity is necessity for spreading Islamic Awakening

The Deputy Secretary General of Lebanon’s Hezbollah Movement underlined the necessity of unity among Muslims in spreading the Islamic Awakening.
In an exclusive interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA), The Deputy Secretary General of Lebanon’s Islamic Hezbollah movement, Hojjat-ol-Islam Sheikh Naim Qasem said that in no way Muslim scholars do not countenance division among Islamic denomination.

” Division among Shia and Sunni denomination is one of the problems and obstacles in the way of Islamic Awakening,” he said.

“There stand two main problems in the way of accomplishing the Islamic Awakening in Muslim countries,” he said.

He said ” The enemies’ attempt in making obstacles in the way of revolutions is the first problem we should deal with.”

“The second one is their (the enemies’) efforts in making division among difference Islamic denomination especially Shia and Sunni,” he added.

“The enemies’ plots is something quite expectable,” said the Islamic scholar stating that Muslims should be aware of the plots hatched by the enemies, both via media and military intervention,” the deputy secretary general of Lebanon’s Hezbollah expressed.

“We have to support the Islamic Awakening process via being cognizant,” Hojjat-ol-Islam Sheikh Qasem underscored.

He pointed the enemies struggle for making division between Shia and Sunnis and said, “Fortunately we could forestall the spread of this Fitna (plots) , but we have to keep going since the enemies do not stop trying.”

He said,” Islamic scholars play a consequential role in making unity and proximity among Muslims,”

Sheikh Qasem pointed to the process of spreading the Islamic Awakening and mentioned,” The Islamic Awakening is getting more and more powerful day by day.”

“One of the main factors behind this power is Muslims’ resistance,” the Lebanese political figure underscored.

He pointed to the 1979 Islamic Revolution of Iran and said,” Islamic Revolution of Iran played an import role in spreading the Islamic Awakening

“After the victory of Islamic Revolution of Iran, the Awakening process continued with the victory of Lebanon revolution; so we are facing with a widespread and powerful awakening all over the world,” the Islamic scholar said.

He added,” But we should remember that the enemies do not stop and try to eschew the growth and progress of Islamic Awakening.”

“We know that Hosni Mubarak was the agent of Israel and the arrogant world in Egypt but with God’s help his government collapsed,” he underlined.

Hojjat-ol-Islam Sheikh Qasem pointed to the Egypt revolution and said, “Egypt revolution was Muslims movement against the tyrannical regime of Egypt, so we can not relate this movement to the U.S or any other arrant power in the world.”

“We should be more aware and do not let the arrogant world hijack Muslims revolution,” said the Islamic scholar underscored.

“We saw that how the nation of Egypt, without relying on any outside power, took the control of Israel embassy and did not let them hijack their revolutions,” he underlined.

The Deputy Secretary General of Lebanon’s Hezbollah rejected those claims say the U.S is the supporter of recent revolution and said,” The U.S and the regime of Israel are petrified of the recent revolutions and movements.”

“I do not accept this claim which says the U.S advocate these revolutions, since western countries only care about their own interests and if in some cases such as Libya protected the uprisings, they did it because of their interests,” said Sheikh Naim stating that as we saw western countries stood against the nation of Bahrain.
