Yemeni MP urges IRI’s, Saudi help over war

A Yemeni MP on Saturday called on the Islamic Republic of Iran and Saudi Arabia to help stop the ongoing conflict in the country.

“Saudis denied their involvement in this war. They say they protect their land against al-Houthi influence, but what is happening now would have displeasing consequences,” Shoughi Abdoraghib al-Qazi said.

Referring to the aftermath of Saudi Arabia’s military action in the region, al-Qazi said, “We need the help of both Iran and Saudi Arabia to avoid bloodshed in Yemen.”

“This war is dubious and we ask them to prevent massacre of Yemeni people,” he added.

Al-Qazi said Yemeni military forces and al-Houthi group are both Muslims of Yemen.
