US has lost decision-making monopoly

Chairman of the Russian State Duma Foreign Affairs Committee, Alexey Pushkov, stressed that the US cannot make single-handed global political decisions any more.

Russia Today website quoted Pushkov as saying on Tweeter on Saturday, that the BRICS countries approved Russia’s stance on Syria, and later at the Shanghai Organization Cooperation (SCO) summit, held recently in Kyrgyzstan, which is a lesson to the US President Barak Obama.

Regarding the Russian Initiative on chemical weapons in Syria, Pushkov reiterated that it is impossible to carry out the US demand which insists on handing over these weapons to the international inspectors in two or three weeks.

He described the US demands as “unprofessional”, particularly that some weapons warehouses are located in the fighting areas.
