Press TV has conducted an interview with Mark Glenn, with the Crescent and Cross Solidarity Movement, and Lawrence J. Korb, a senior adviser of the Center for Defense Information, to discuss the 36th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution in Iran and the twists and turns of the relationship between Tehran and Washington during the years.

Glenn says the Islamic Revolution in Iran was the only successful revolution against the United States in the Middle East region, which has not been repeated in any other countries. He also believes that the US has not changed its hostile approach toward Iran since the Revolution.

On the other hand, Korb claims the United States has never tried to control Iran’s society or to affect its decisions, and the measures by the US governments during these years have just been reactions to the policies of Iranian officials.
