US helping terrorists in southeast Iran

The US is helping the Pakistan-based Jundallah militants to enter Iran through the Persian Gulf and carry out terrorist acts in the country, a report said Wednesday.

The United States has given a vessel to members of the Jundallah terrorist group to travel in the southern Iranian waters, an informed source told Basirat website, with close ties to Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC).

Jundallah, led by Abdolmalek Rigi, has claimed responsibility for numerous terrorist attacks in southeastern Iran, killing civilians as well as government officials.

The latest of such attacks was launched in October 2009 in the borderline region of Pishin in Iran’s southeastern Sistan-Baluchestan Province, killing more than 40 people including a number of top IRGC commanders and Shia and Sunni tribal leaders.
