US Interior Secretary Salazar resigning

US Interior Secretary Ken Salazar said he will step down from his position in March, the White House said Wednesday. Salazar, who oversaw an industry-wide moratorium on offshore drilling following the BP oil spill, served throughout President Barack Obama’s first term. Salazar is only the latest official to resign from the administration, as Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Pentagon chief Leon Panetta, Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner and Labor Secretary Hilda Solis are all leaving.
