US, Israel defeated in soft war against Iran

Iranian Defense Minister Ahmad Vahidi has said the United States and Israel have been defeated in the soft war against Iran.

“When America and the Zionist regime realized that they were defeated in the soft war against the Islamic Republic, they hired terrorists (who act) under the guise of religion to fight against the Islamic Republic,” he said in a ceremony held in Mashhad to honor senior commanders of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps who lost their lives in a bomb attack in Sistan-Balouchestan Province on October 18.

IRGC Ground Forces Deputy Commander Nour-Ali Shoushtari and Sistan-Baluchestan Province IRGC Commander Rajab-Ali Mohammadzadeh were among those who were killed in the attack

Vahidi said martyrs Shoushtari and Mohammadzadeh sought to establish security in the region through cooperation with people which is the Islamic Republic’s security doctrine.

He said the terrorists should be aware that they will be punished for their despicable act of terror.

He also said Iran and Pakistan have brotherly ties and the Pakistani government should deprive terrorists of the opportunity to use the Pakistani soil to plan and carry out attacks against Iran.
