US, Israel staged coup in Egypt

Press TV has conducted an interview with Kevin Barrett, an author and Middle East expert from Madison, to discuss an Egyptian court ruling that declared the Palestinian resistance movement of Hamas a “terrorist” group.

Barrett believes that the US and its Zionist allies in Tel Aviv ran a coup to install the administration of President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi in Egypt in order to harm anti-Israel resistance and further their vicious agenda in the region.

He maintains that Israel’s spy agency, Mossad, has a long history of meddling and penetrating into the Egyptian institutions in recent decades.
