The US-led coalition airstrikes hit water pumping stations in the Syrian Province of Aleppo.

The US-led international coalition targeted water pumping stations in al-Khafseh area, East of Aleppo, causing them to go out of service on Thursday.

A source at Aleppo Governorate said Aleppo Water Establishment will immediately start the necessary maintenance measures to fix the damaged pumping stations.

On Oct 18, US-led alliance conducted airstrikes on a power plant in Aleppo in violation of the international law, causing a blackout in Aleppo city.

The warplanes violated the Syrian airspace and bombed the biggest electric power plant that feeds Aleppo city, cutting off power from most neighborhoods in the city on Sunday.

The news came only 8 days after two F-16 warplanes belonging to the alliance targeted two power plants in al-Radwaniye area East of Aleppo city, cutting off power from the area.

Also on Sunday, the US-led alliance warplanes attacked civilian infrastructure in Mare’a, Tal Sha’er, and al-Bab in Aleppo countryside.
