Head of the Judiciary has held the US and other countries supporting ISIL responsible for atrocities in Yemen, Beirut, and Paris.

Ayatollah Sadegh Amoli Larijani who was addressing a meeting of Judiciary high-ranking officials on Monday, said that ISIL had embarked on new phase of its atrocities; “their recent mass killing of innocent citizens in Paris following Beirut and Yemen is despicable; however, the main question is still going unanswered that who fostered ISIL and what conditions and environment gave rise to the terrorist group, to which the US and countries supporting ISIL should provide responses,” he emphasized.

“The western countries and some of their regional allies fill the political gap in some countries including Iraq in search of their interests, which led them to speak of disintegration of Iraq; West and the regional supporters of terrorism, which are reactionary as well and rule with iron fists in their fellow countries, depriving the multitudes of people of their freedom, have actively supported Al-Qaeda and ISIL,” Larijani told the meeting.

Head of the Judiciary denounced recent remarks by John Kerry who had said that the US was not to be blamed for creation of the ISIL; “the US officials should be brought to the justice for their support and creation of the terrorist group,” he emphasized.

Amoli Larijani told the meeting that the US had been hypocrite in their handling of surveillance of Iran’s trade under sanctions and quite different position of ignoring the ISIL’s selling of crude oil in the black markets; “they would boast of their surveillance upper hand of virtually every transaction in the market; however, their information and intelligence empire would fall apart when comes to ISIL’s business transactions which brought to the terrorist group huge amount of cash; their claims reminds one of mere joke when they announce fight against ISIL; we recommend that they effectively prevent the flow of terrorists from their mainland to Middle East and they should know that the smoke of the fire they have been fueling have now reached their own people,” he emphasized.

“Within two years of fight, they had not had even single effective attack against ISIL, and the burden of the real fight had been on the shoulders of the native Syrians and Iraqi forces and military consultation by Iran; the EU heads of countries supporting ISIL should know that now ISIL is spiraling out of control and reports had said the European youth have been under the influence of the ISIL, which even if only a fraction, would prove disastrous,” Ayatollah Amoli Larijani told the meeting, indirectly addressing the EU countries.
