US spy ring uncovered in Yemeni capital: activists

A U.S. spy ring has been uncovered by the Yemeni intelligence apparatus in the capital city of Sanaa this past weekend, local activists reported on Tuesday.

According to the activists, at least a dozen people have been detained by the Yemeni authorities in Sanaa after they were accused of providing sensitive information to the U.S.

The U.S. has long been a close political and military ally of the Al-Saud regime, who is currently waging war against the Yemeni people.

U.S. citizens have also been accused of working as mercenaries for the Saudi Coalition in Yemen, with some even being reported dead after clashes with the Houthi forces.
