US strike on Syria will imperil Israel

A senior Iranian legislator has cautioned against any US military strike on Syria, stating that such an action will definitely pose a grave danger to Israel’s security.

According to the Fars News Agency, Alaeddin Boroujerdi, the chairman of Iran’s Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, made the remarks on Friday.
Boroujerdi noted, “The United States, the West and their regional allies are suffering from a reputation crisis, because they told the world public opinion that they would settle the Syrian conflict in few months”.
He pointed out, “We are, however, witnessing the third year of the war in Syria, and the crisis has not been resolved. Americans and Westerners, like kids defeated in a game, are planning to launch several missiles into Syria in order to restore their lost reputation”.
The Iranian lawmaker went on to say that any US military intervention in Syria will seriously jeopardize the security of the Tel Aviv regime.
