Syrian cleric hails stances of Iran Ayatollah Taskhiri

A top Syrian Mufti sent a letter to Iran senior scholar to express his gratitude over his stances regarding Syria in a recent Islamic Fiq’h conference held in Algiers.

Ahmad Badr el Din Hasoun, Syrian Supreme Mufti wrote a letter to grand Ayatollah Mohammad Ali Taskhiri, Deputy of the Supreme Leader of Islamic Republic and praised the undeniable role of the cleric in preventing any statement against Syria in Islamic Fiq’h Conference held in Algiers, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

He said,” Stances of Ayatollah Taskhiri prove his firm support for confrontation with disunity in the Islamic nation.”

He also said, “Scholars at Islamic Fiq’h Forum were expected to issue a statement for peace among Syrian brothers.” and expressed hope that the upcoming conference of the forum in Baghdad focuses on bringing peace among Islamic community and preventing the massacre of Muslims.

In the same breath, Ayatollah Mohammad Ali Taskhiri stressed his stance regarding Syria due to his tendency for realization of justice and rejection of Arab petrified efforts that make use of any opportunity for realization of the objectives of the Zionists.
