‘US wants ISIL war to bleed into Iran’

The United States wants the fight against the ISIL Takfiri terrorists to bleed into Iran so that it can expand its operations against the group in the Middle East, says political analyst Bruce Gagnon.

Gagnon made the comments in an interview with Press TV on Thursday when asked about remarks by Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump who said he would “bomb the hell out of” Iraq’s oil fields to defeat the ISIL terrorist group, if elected president.

“I would bomb the hell out of those oil fields. I wouldn’t send many troops because you won’t need them by the time I’m finished,” Trump said in an interview with CNN’s Anderson Cooper on Wednesday night.

“The comments by several Republican candidates for president about bombing the oil fields in Iraq that are controlled by ISIS (ISIL)  really indicate that the Republican party very much like the Democratic party are essentially carrying water for the military industrial complex by expanding US military operations in the Middle Eastern region, this means more money for weapons corporations,” said Gagnon of Global Network against Weapons and Nuclear Power in Space.

He said that “the United States and Saudi Arabia along with Turkey and Jordan essentially created ISIS, they’ve been funding it, training it, directing it in order to insure ongoing instability throughout the Middle East.”

“In the end, the US and its agents want this war to bleed into Syria in even a bigger way and also ultimately into Iran creating the support then for expanded operations there, you see comments that we’ve gotta go in and rout out the ISIS people who have safe heavens inside of Syria,” he opined.

Gagnon noted that “the United States and its allies first fund these so called moderate insurgents and then when they become ISIS , now we gotta go in and rout them out, so it’s a circle game that I think is being exposed increasingly by people around the world.”

“We really see in the end a strategy of full-scale global war by the Pentagon not only in the Middle East but now surrounding Russia and China and expanding war even on the African continent in order to make the final play for the control of global resources on behalf not as the American people but on behalf of global corporations.”

“Americans are made to fear ISIS at the same time our government has created ISIS,” he concluded.

The ISIL terrorists, many of whom were initially trained by the CIA in Jordan in 2012 to destabilize the Syrian government, are engaged in crimes against humanity in the areas under their control.
