Velayati: Iran defends Iraq’s territorial integrity unquestionably

Velayati made the remarks in a meeting with a group of Iraqi Ulema from Iraq’s theological school in Tehran on Monday.

Iran is opposed to any opinion pool calling for Iraq’s segregation and for many times have declared our stances in this regard, Velayati said.

There is no doubt that Zionists and their regional puppets under the US commands are behind terrorists and Takfiri groups, he said.

The future of Iraq is very promising and it will be a dignified, independent and powerful country, he said.

You pushed Americans out of your soil, but they are to back under various pretexts, he said adding that you should not let them back in an independent and Muslim Iraq.

It is not justifiable that the Americans to enter into any Islamic countries under any pretexts mainly in Iraq, he said.

‘We are duty-bound to defend our countries and spare no efforts to strengthen resistance chain,’ he said.

To prevent influence of aliens in the region, all should help to strengthen resistance, Velayati said.
