VIDEO: 30 buses arrive in Aleppo from Fua and Kefraya

Around 30 buses with civilians on board were seen arriving from the besieged villages of Fua and Kefraya in the Idlib Governorate to the safety of government-controlled areas of Aleppo on Friday.

“I don’t know what to say… I don’t know what to say. I hope God will take us back to our homes, God will protect Bashar al-Assad,” a civilian said.

A civilian expressed the gratitude towards the Red Cross who provided basic necessities.

“We’ve been travelling for four days. The most exhausting time was during the night. There were approximately 90 people in each bus. Thanks to the Red Cross we got everything we needed. We thank them very much, they got us pampers, milk, food for children, and everything else,” the civilian revealed.

“The Red Cross treated us very well. The trip was comfortable. The most important thing for us now is that our families who stayed there will come and join us as soon as possible.”

It was then explained the difficulty but the necessity of leaving ones home.

“Of course it is hard to be away from hometown, but we had to. We were strangers in our own home, surrounded by militants. It was a hard choice but we didn’t have any other options.”
