Video- 5th Natl. Elite Confab underway in Tehran

These are just some of the top university graduates that have gathered at the Fifth National Conference of Elite in Tehran, the goal of which is to identify and provide work and research facilities for academics and highly skilled workers.

According to the secretary general of the conference, the participants will take part in a number of training workshops and tour some of the best scientific and industrial centers in the country.

Also speaking to Press TV, the leaders of top industries touched upon the country’s ability to respond to the graduates’ needs, coupled with better employment prospects and a general sense of intellectual and social security.

Under the provisions of national development plans, the Iranian government is trying to push the country towards a knowledge-based economy, that of course, with the help educated Diaspora and the pool of experts at home.
